Iron Fist

I just wanna share to you one of my favorite hero in the marvel universe, Iron fist. Iron Fist (Daniel "Danny" Rand-K'ai) is a fictional character, a comic book superhero in the Marvel Comics Universe, and a practitioner ofmartial arts. Created by Roy Thomas and Gil Kane, he first appeared in Marvel Premiere #15 (May 1974).

Plunging his fists into the molten heart of the dragon Shou-Lao the Undying infused the dragon's superhuman energy into Rand; this along with training by Lei Kung the Thunderer gave Rand the power of the Iron Fist, it allows him to summon and focus his chi (or natural energy) and enhance his natural abilities to extraordinary levels. His strength, speed, stamina, durability, agility, reflexes and senses can all be greatly intensified, making his already formidable martial arts skills even more so.

Here's a brief history of Iron Fist,

Sad to say Marvel cancelled his solo series way back then. It was a good start and many readers are amazed about the story line and revelations. But Marvel has a bad habit of cancelling good series without any reason. I hope to see him more often in other books of marvek

New Robocop

Making its way to theaters on February next year, Columbia Pictures and MGM begin their promotional campaigns for the new look and reimagined  cybernetic pop culture cop and hero, Robocop. Robocop was one of my favorite movie and hero when I was a kid. I once scream when I saw one action figure of the icon. Kinda weird but that's how I idolized the character.

Just like the 1987 film, the new Robocop film stars Joel Kinnaman as Alex Murphy, a police from Detroit and family man who is severely injured and then outfitted with robotic technology by OmniCorp to save his life. Now both part man and machine, Alex uses his newfound abilities to fight the crime, while struggling with rediscovering himself and keeping his humanity at the same time.

Here is the trailer for the new robocop.

Robocop hits conventional, 3D, and IMAX 3D theaters on February 7, 2014.
