Marvel Now Week 34 pick!

As we continue the on going series books of Marvel, let me share to you some of my thoughts regarding this week's issues.
For the Uncanny X-men, I thought this cover art will bring a twist in the current story of Uncanny X-men written by Brian Michael Bendis and art by Chris Bachalo. This book is now on its 8th issue and Cyke's team of X-men is tearing apart as Fabio left out the team. On the other hand, another mutants pops out the globe. David who I think can control cars try to use his powers along with his girl. But as he try to control it,, police come over the place and his girl sell him out telling that David is a mutant. The police shot him down and Magik and the other uncanny X-men came to rescue the life of David. Meanwhile the cover art is a just a teaser and it did not happen. Magneto and Scott just talk about the future of their mutant race. They discuss that even though their powers are power they should not give up and train themselves to provide protection for the other mutants. I'll rate this issue 3.5/5. Not too much excitement except for David's part which I find his powers way too cool. Let's just hope that this book continue to give us chills and goosebumps. "Mutant and Proud!"

And for the conclusion for this spider-slayer arc, Mayor J. Jonah Jameson asked Spider-man to supervise the execution of Alistair Smythe a.k.a. the Spider- slayer. Moments before the said execution, an escape has occurred and other villains like Vulture, Scorpion and Boomerang were upgraded and help to defeat Spider-man. Without their knowledge Spider-man already thought all the possible things Alistair might do. He even try to do the same thing on what Otto did to Peter yet he failed to do and Spider-man finally end Alistair Smythe's life. At the end of the issue it shows that there will be a Spider- Island version 2.0 as a prison and a new costume for the Superior Spider-man.
